Laura is an energetic five foot two, lover of Starbucks cold brew, singer-actor-dancer, currently based in Sarasota, Florida. Born into a classical music family, she spent most of her childhood training in classical ballet, singing in a touring children’s choir, performing in her school’s theatre department, and reading the entire young adult section of her local library. Laura made her professional debut dancing in The Music Man with The St. Petersburg Opera Company in 2018, and shortly thereafter pursued two degrees in BFA Musical Theatre & BM Vocal Performance with a minor in Dance at Florida Southern College, graduating Summa Cum Laude in May of 2022.
A versatile performer, Laura is skilled in a wide range of singing styles including musical theatre, opera, pop, and oratorio, as well as classical ballet, Shakespeare, and tap. She has worked as a pointe shoe fitter at a regional dance store, as a social media manager, and as the Soprano Section Leader/Soloist at First United Methodist Church of Sarasota & Lakeland. In her free time, Laura enjoys crafting of all kinds, visiting Disney World with her Annual Pass, reading World War II Historical fiction novels (specifically anything with a female spy heroine), and loving her black cat Jasper.
